Running enthusiasts of all levels will not want to miss the opportunity to join Horizon Services and the Horizon Helps team to support the 29TH Annual Scott Coffee Moorestown Rotary 8K.

Named after the founder of the race who passed away in the summer of 2006, the event will raise funding to support activities of the Moorestown Rotary and the Scott Coffee Education Endowment for Scholarships.

Runners will start and finish at the Community House on Main Street in historic Moorestown, New Jersey. The traffic-free USATF certified course passes through the tree-lined streets of 300 year old Moorestown. There are splits every mile and two water stops.

The event will be broken into three primary categories in which various awards will be given out:

  • Grand Prix and 8K Championship Event for Mid-Atlantic USATF Athletes
  • 5×1 Mile Relay Race – Team of five will pass the baton at 1-mile intervals
  • 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk Suited for participants of all ages

Horizon Services is the official volunteer shirt sponsor for the event and donated close to 200 specially designed shirts. The Horizon Helps team will also be on site offering attendees the chance to learn more about the Horizon Helps community program, Horizon Services as a company, and giving everyone a chance to enter to win great prizes and giveaways.
